late model silverado/sierra seat trim code question

wow....that was a long title!

I am looking for seats from the 99-06 silverado/sierra to put into my 70 k20, I recently took a 4 hour ride in the pass. seat of a 2005....I am sold, I need these seats for my truck.

My question is this, I like dark interiors....but it seems as of late, GM doesn't. I am trying to figure out what the trim code was for the "dark charcoal" interior on these trucks. It is hard to tell with computer pics. but it looks like 69C is vinyl sided, grey w/t seats, 69d is a dark'ish grey cloth seat.....can anyone confirm is 12D is the darkest 'charcoal' that GM put into these trucks?

Also, can I put buckets with arm rests in with a jump seat, or is there a size difference between seats that came with the jump seat, and seats that came with the floor mounted shifter/console?

Thanks!

Re: late model silverado/sierra seat trim code question

69D is the darkest charcoal they put in those trucks. That is what my 06 has. I do interior work at a Dealer, and have never seen anything darker. I think you can get Ebony or Black aftermarket leather covers for those seats. And if you could always have covers made. I got a set of those seats in cloth for my truck. I am having a buddy add charcoal microfiber inserts to the leather seat covers I bought. The seats with arm rests should fit fine with the jump seat.
