Re: Assembly Manual
I've never seen one for free before, but I got mine on Ebay for $30. They are listed there quite frequently. I think one of the site vendors has them new, but I can't remember which one.

Re: Assembly Manual
That's a Service Manual. The assembly manual is different and is for all the 67 - 72 chevy trucks. Both are useful. The assembly manual is a little hard to follow because it's been piece together from manuals for each year. Actually it is crappy but it's all there is.

Re: Assembly Manual
getting both is well worth the money in the long run// as far as downloading and printing your own well the price of ink and paper to do a thousand or so pages isnt exactly free

I don't have any pictures but I think there are three different ones. The Chassis Service Manual, Chassis Overhaul Manual, and the Assembly Manual. I think the Assembly Manual is usually more expensive than the others.... LockDoc

Re: Assembly Manual
You can get the Truck Data Book pages free from GM. They are definitely good to have; accurate dimensions along most points, trans, engine etc.specs and all optional equipment for your year.
I got an original Chassis Service Manual in near perfect cond. on ebay for $20,and it's pretty interesting, although for most stuff my Haynes is enough. What is it that you need to know, anything specific that somebody could help you with?

Re: Assembly Manual
I have all the ones listed and a few others. Each has some areas where it is better than others.Another free book that would be worth having is an LMC catalog.Their prices suck but their catalog shows assembly stuff none of the manuals do.
