Re: Drop axles??
personally i would not put the power steering on the str8 axle, I did that to a 54 a couple of yrs ago and was too quick,i even had instakked a stabilizer shock which didnt help much but its my .02

Re: Drop axles??
I run a 3" drop axle and monoleafs on my 53. For powersteering I use an old box from a mid 80's truck. I had to fab up my own mounts to keep all the angles right so as to avoid bumpsteer.

And i used a steering arm off of a late 60's chevy car ,and it tends to over steer in a curve some too?I also took out 2 leafs on the front and i believe that hurt me some also? I would love some more info from others with the same set up? |
