Re: Drove this one home, What do you think?
I think I will pull the eng/tranny and a few other misc parts and sale the rest whole. If I could trade for everything I need I could leve it whole and let someone have a great truck!

Is that the huge power hungry York compressor? Those things worked great but slowed you way down when it was on.

Re: Drove this one home, What do you think?
Well, you just keep on dragging stuff home, huh? Nice find. So, the 350/350combo is for the '67? Or, are you still looking for the TBI/700R4 combo? And, did you take those pix at The Greens?
Congrats, mon ami. You have better luck than I do.

Re: Drove this one home, What do you think?
I am still debating on the TBI/700r4 or just using this drive train. The pictures are from Conway, didnt catch the name of the place. If I use this setup I will have every part, nut and bolt I would need to do the entire swap plus disc brakes. I just hate to take this truck apart. It's to nice in every aspect! and yes I have been getting lucky on these trucks lately. However, I brought home 2 and have looked at 40. I am lucky because my wife doesnt complain about it.

Re: Drove this one home, What do you think?
My wife has been thankful for my old car/truck hobby, in that I don't run around on her, hit the bars and pool halls, etc., like her first hubby did before he died. Still, after almost 30 years, she's established a limit for me. Every now and then, I get to fudge a little on something. I think I'll keep her.
That location in Conway looks like one of the many apartments that Jim Lindsey (Fayetteville) has built all over the state. We have at least three locations in Saline County. What would it be to just swap the chassis between the two? Besides a lot of work?

Re: Drove this one home, What do you think?
Good grief, in PA that's not even remotely close to being a parts truck! That's nicer than some 5-6 year old trucks in this region. I know some of you see those trucks all day long in the midwest, but it would be a sin to part that out. Clean it up, put it up for sale and send it east! I'm guessing you'll end up with a handsome profit. Seriously, it's way too nice to kill. Just my opinion....
