Engine Painting

I have sanded scraped my engine to as close to bare metal as I can since it was flaking paint off. What can I use to degrease it right before painting that would keep it from flash rusting before I prime it.

Re: Engine Painting

Go to the paint store and get wax and grease remover and put it in a spray bottle. Spray and wipe down and make sure it is dry before you paint.
You should have no problems.

Make sure that you use a clean rag to wipe it off, different from the application one.
