Are the 20" wheels off the Dodges spare tires, or are they a standard wheel. What are the odds of junkyarding this stuff? So I guess what I'm trying to ask is, would a guy be looking for 4 trucks with the spare or 1 truck with all 4 wheels?

Dodge Rams with factory installed 20's will have a steel 20" spare under the bed. If the truck had dealer installed 20's the truck might have a 17" spare underneath because they forgot to add the 20" spare. EBAY has a set of 4 right now with a 185.00 buy it now price (kind of high) + shipping. I got all 4 of mine for less than 50.00 each shipped by just asking around.

Have you gotten any further with this? I think you may be a little wide with those spacers. From what I gather(via Google), the wheels are 20x8 w/19mm offset. That translates to a 5.25" backspacing. Perfect for a bagged truck up front- the rear will be a little tucked, requiring a small spacer.

With a 1.75" spacer up front, that puts you at 3.5" backspacing. That definitely will not work on a bagged truck, and will likely stick out past the fenders. Ditto for the back with 3.25 backspacing.

I don't mean to pee in your Cheerios- I have been researching a set for my truck and just wondered if you made these work. Can you verify the backspacing on the wheels? Have you gotten around to ordering center caps? If so, do you know the center bore diameter?

Re-drilling the bolt pattern up front might be an option. No spacers keeps the track width optimum.

That's what I was thinking. The machine work would likely be more than the rotors...

Well I ended up using a stepside bed that I had laying around and the wheels will not fit.... Close but no go.... If you redrilled the axles of course work with no problems... I had not got around to putting any tin on the front so I am not sure of the front...

Well, the machine work costs significantly more than the rotors- hell- the powder-coat cost as much as the wheels. Tires coming soon...

gringoloco, are there any clearance issue with the back of thrbolt flange on the rim hitting the brake caliper, i have been thinking about doing the same thing to my truck to be able to use the 22's that i had on my dodge since there just collecting dust now.

when you get them mounted if you can post pictures and comments it would be greatly appreciated.

I like your ideas and follow through guys. I am personally into big chrome rims, but i appreciate the subtle look, shop trucks, factory stockers, etc. It's the different ideas that lead to more ideas that make this site such a wonderful place.

I have a few ideas on centers. There is the push-thru option which also gives you the option of bullets. I'm not really sure I want to do the rat-rod thing though... There is also a set of Dodge caps that look a lot like the rally centers, but they have a ram's head on them. I was thinking of affixing a bowtie to one and seeing how it turns out. I'll probably do one of each and go with what I like the best.

I don't foresee any caliper fitment problems as the wheel doesn't have any potential interference issues that I can see. Pics will definitely follow.

IIRC, they were around $80 each do get re-drilled. If they were a hubless rotor, the cost would have been significantly less. Due to the design, they had to be clearanced with a broach and re-faced in the area where the stud presses in- not to mention turning down the hub...

Sorry man, I am probably not going to get them mounted, as the truck they were meant for is getting prepared for some major suspension modifications that will not allow these wheels to work. When I'm done with it, it won't even accept the stock bolt pattern- much less the Dodge wheels.

They will likely be up for sale soon, along with the adapters and rotors...
