what should i do?

I have a 68 c10 that I just bought in the fall. It has a BRAND new 350 that has mabey like 3000 miles on it. i just happend to run into a turn key 383 with a edelbrock power package http://store.summitracing.com/partde...8&autoview=sku
it also has forged pistons and a holly double pumper 650-700cfm he wasnt sure.
my question is should i spend $2200 for a blower and everything i would need to drop on to my stock 350.
and how much would my 350 be worth to sell? this is what i have now http://store.summitracing.com/partde...9&autoview=sku

http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q...4/DSC00297.jpg this is what it looks like now and i would sell it just like it is minus the air cleaner and distributor i think $1500 is a fair price right?

I'll say it before the moderators do: Spend the $25 bucks to join the board and you can offer it for sale. I will admit it was the best $25 I have spent!

Re: what should i do?

I think its worth selling. In this area it would be worth a $1000-$1200

Re: what should i do?

I think I solved the question. I think I sold my dirt bike and that will let buy the motor and when my bonus comes buy the supercharger... this could be a very sweet deal if it all works out

Re: what should i do?

should be picking up the 383 this weekend or monday looking forward to doing a 350 to 383 swap with video of the go juice before and after and plenty of pics then when the army gives me my bonus it will be getting a blower, this is going to be a very good summer if the turbo 350 holds up. oh and i will be putting a powertrac locker in and new tires and well thats about all of my money... should be fun

Be awful careful putting a blower on that motor. I put a procharger on the 383 in my boat with cast pistons and burned a hole in one the second time out I changed to JE blower pistons and haven't had a problem since have to run 91 octane gas.
