Re: Copperhead spec sheet!!
I know the guy that owned the truck when it was being built.. He said Stacey offered him $100,000 for that truck. Said he had alot more in it than that. But that the advertising from the show made up for it.

Heres a link that works http://www.gearztv.com/index.php?em2...jects&ek=96289
His new show is on ESPN its called gearz, and I have the entire copperhead project minus one I cant remember, but the filler for the tank was a pt cruiser door he recessed in and re-clear coated the board not a hinged board His new show is pretty good and the trucks show sucks with the 2 retards that are on it now I excpecially like the first co-host that was on steriods and talked like mocho man randy savage

You might have animosity towards the show, and I agree meathead was a dumbass, and I can't stand the new guy with brown hair very much, but the sandy blonde guy is really not bad, and he puts some great info out there. He just doesn't have the personality that, say, Stacey, or Jessi from Extreme 4x4 (who is leaving, I hear), Lou Santiago (who just left Musclecar), or Jared Zimmerman (who I'm pretty sure also left Musclecar). But he is still really informative and puts out some solid info. I don't get why Powerblock can't hold on to their peoples....

Re: Copperhead spec sheet!!
I agree with shifty, the main guy on trucks now that did the short bed chassis conversion on the 66 chevy is pretty informative. I wish they would start the new season and plumb all the art stuff they installed.

Re: Copperhead spec sheet!!
I have to agree with the above statements about the "Power Block". While I don't watch it much, I did end up to like Stacey David, the way he shared his knowledge helped me get over the mullet he was sporting. I really liked Lou from Musclecar, the show will tank without him and Jessie, well I had a little TV crush on the tomboy.
As far as the Copperhead truck, very cool! But I have a question, I can't seem to get my relatively stock 350 to hook up, so I have no idea how a 600+ HP truck is going to do it, maybe at 50mph in 3rd, but first and second are going to be worthless other than cooking the tires, and I have the same size tires on mine.

Re: Copperhead spec sheet!!
shifty, did you see the episode where they took the frame to the powdercoaters? I know you were asking about frame treatment in another thread.
On a side note, you can buy all the trucks episodes from 2007 and part of 2006 at Itunes. Each episode is $1.99, or you can buy the 2007 season for $37.99.

Re: Copperhead spec sheet!!
I missed that episode I probably have it somewhere, though. I had almost every episode of Trucks TV on my Series2 Tivo. I ripped all of them off the Tivo when I got a new TivoHD (Series3).
I'll hafta go back through them. Anyone who hasn't seen the '66 LWB->SWB conversion, you really should. It will change your opinion of at least one of the new hosts. I can rip it/chop it/post it to MEgaUpload or something if people want to see it.
