disc brake conversion for 1970 k10???
Hi all, I was just wondering if any of you out there had converted your 4x4 pickup to disc brakes. If so, what resources did you use (i.e. web sites, books, etc.)? Also, where is the best place for parts, the junk yard, or a specific parts dealer? I've been tossing the idea around, and thought it best to seek out those who had gone before (so too speak). Anyway, thanks in advance for the help.

I know for sure you can find a 71-72 4x4 doner and get the front diff. from it. My 70 actually had discs, don't know if it was stock or not. Try www.coloradok5.com . Those guys would know.

Hey Ryan, I have a front axle for a 72 Blazer. It is 6 lug with 3.07, but all of the disc parts are there. I'll sell it for $250. The rotors will need to be turned and the calipers rebuilt, however. I'm in Austin, but if you give me a deposit, I'll bring the axle back from my farm later this month, or go up there with you to retrieve it at your convenience (weekend preferably.)
