e-brake cable end?
I need to shorten my e-brake cable, where and how do i get another cable end? I dont want to use the "u" shaped nut and bolt thingey. Id like to crimp on another end. HELP!

I have not located any ends so I have been making my own out of 3/8 steel rod cut to length. Drill a through hole so that the cable just fits and then crimp the part onto the cable.

I never had the ebrake on my truck but couldn't you just trim from the other end?
Jims idea sounds good but you can also buy aluminum crimp fittings, would save some time |
