seats and door panals
as most of you all know i am 18 years old and i am buildin my first classic chevy truck. frist of all i am putting a built 327 sbc in it in place of the 6banger. but where i am turning my attention to the inteior. i dont like the 69 door panals. i want to put the 72 scroll panals in the truck. but i have the 69 doors and i dont know if i can use the 69 door and use the 72 panal.can i do this? and i want to put the 72 scroll seat cover on my bench seat can i do all of this with my 69 or do i need to but the 72 door skin?

72 has hard plastic... no9t scrolls. The 69 has a scroll vinal door panel in the CST and custom that looked nice... 70 and 71 had them too, but with a splash off woodgrain added.

It's possible to do this I believe, but you will need to get you some window regulators out of a 1972. The metal tips that the window crank and door handle go stick out further so that they are long enough for the different style door panels. You might possibly have to get 1972 doors in able to run them. Trevor
