What does the 'T' at the beginning of my vin stand for?

T means it is a GMC which apparently is only used in 72...the rest were either C or K

I just stumbled across this

*NOTE** 1972 VIN # will begin as CC or CK. The first C stands for Chevrolet the second the Chassis Type.
1972 GMC trucks will begin with a TC or TK.
