3 point seat belt install
Will something like this work for a 3 point harness install (bolt to stock holes in the floor and bolt to the roll bar up top)?
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/de...l?reviews=true These also look really slick, if they'll work in a blazer, and not just a truck. http://www.julianos.com/how2_67chevy_truck.html The belts in my truck are if'y at best, and I'm getting concerned. Any help would be great, but I'm gonna have to just make something work pretty soon. Thanks!

Re: 3 point seat belt install
They should, there universal. You can probaly find the same belts a little cheaper though.
This is probaly the route I will go. Ron

Re: 3 point seat belt install
I put a 98 Silverado seat in mine. I used the stock locations for the seat belts and bolted the shoulder belt to the roll bar. It works fine. Of course, I haven't crashed it into a barrier to test it...

Re: 3 point seat belt install
well, don't try it out on my account. it'd be a shame. Did you use stock bolts or hardware store? my stock bolts are way gone.

Re: 3 point seat belt install
This helps a bunch, does it seem to make difference how the belt works if you mount to out side of roll verses inside of cab.

Re: 3 point seat belt install
I'm not planning on it. I used grade 8 bolts from my favorite hardware store. I buy nuts and bolts at a store called CAL Ranch because they still sell by the pound.

Re: 3 point seat belt install
The ones on the autoparts link should work. I just had a roll cage built for my '69 using those exact belts. The female end has a short and somewhat flexible rod that bolts to the floor. I suggest using an L-Bracket on the floor so when bolted in it sits right and you don't have to torque the female buckle to make it click.
