67-68 cab on my 72?
I asked this question before, and got mixed answers. I need a new cab for my '72, and i have found several cabs from '67-68 trucks in pretty good shape. Besides the parking brake, what are the differences between them? I also heard the heater arrangements are different, maybe it was the holes in the firewall. Will the wiring plug in to my '72 dash, engine harness, and other lights?

The throttle is not the same, '70 and older has a rod instead of cable. HTe hole for the peadle is not the same.
The heater is not the same either. '72 has a vent in dvr door jamb, 70 and older do not. Holes for the rearview mirror will be drilled, and posably a raised mounting pad for it also. Some 67's had the small back window. All I can think of off the top of my head. ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350. How hard would it be to change that, if i have access to a welder? Just a few holes to drill or what?
