Time for exhaust on the 68 dually longhorn mutt project....any recomendations?
Its about time for exhaust.........I know it will be 2 1/2 and duals, but I really dont know how I want it. Behind the wheels at a 45 degree angle, behind the wheels at a 90 degree angle or straight out the back.
1) Where did the stock exhasut come out? Any pictures? 2) If I bring it out the sides at a 45...shoud I cut the end of the pipe at a 45? Does anyone have a good picture of the underside of a longbed or longhorn exhast? Pics please!!!!!.........Thanks

5" stacks!!You know you want to do it.
I like 90s tucked right behind the wheelwell for a clean unpretentious look.It will require routing over the leafs,but it`ll never squat onto them.On your truck I think good ole 90s in front of the tires with turn-downs barely showing.It`s a big truck thing not to run it all the way back.Either way,I think 90 deg. will accent the fatness of the dual wheels best.

When the 327 goes it will get a 4 cyl. Cummins..........then we will get the 5" stacks!!!!

IMHO, they sound sweeter straight out the back end(to the passer by cars). if you like to hear it run, I would turn em out the sides, but go 45-55 on the angle. The sharper you bend em, the more the pipe crushes. I have a really nice system on my old 'Horn, but sorry no pics at this time. crazyL
