what you all think about smoke tint on my windows.
I love the smoke tent and my windows need something. I am wanting to put a heavy tent on them but how much.

here you can get it done for like $20 a window but you have to be careful some places outlaw the stuff as it doesnt allow cops to see in when they pull you over and they dont like that it can be a large fine

You need to check to see what your state allows on the darkness of tint is. In Ky we r not allowed over 30% darkness anything over that they will fine us and make us take it off.

My truck is similar to yours,and it has 35% on it.Which is legal here in TN.It looks alot darker in the pic than it is.I have 20% on my Impala and Grand prix,which is alot darker,and have never had a problem with cops.

Well I know Tennessee only allows 35% but they can't give you a ticket for it unless they have a special tool to mesure the thickness of the tint. I am wanting to 35% on back and sides and then go maybe 80 or 70% on front.

RWJJR, It's not smoking though.
Anyway, TN law is it has to be 35% on the sides and can be as dark as 15% in the rear. You aren't legally allowed to tint the front at all anymore. Even the shaded tint at top is questionable now.
