Hedder fitment????

I have a set of hedders that I am trying to install on my 87k5. I have a newer pass side slave bellhousing, which I thought was going to be a problem, but it seems to be fine. My issue is the factory front pinion snubber. I had to remove it to get the hedder on the pass side and will have to hack it up and fab somthing to get a pinion snubber back in there.
Has anyone else had this issue??
What to do?
Other question is the distance of the fuel line from the exhaust, how much is safe?
Also how close can the clutch hydraulic line be to the hedder?
I know that ideally I need them as far away as possible, but what is tolerable??
Any insight is appreciated.
