Hooker Super Comps Headers ceramic coated

I bought these last summer and was going to put them on my rig, but have decided to go a different direction. There are no dents that I see in these. The coating has started to come off on & around the collector area on both of them & have started surface rust. The rest of the coating is good. I thought about getting these re-coated. Then thought I'd just sand down the worn areas & paint them or even just hang them on and go like they are. But, I'll leave that decision to the next owner. Here's the Summit link for these & what they fit.

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Again, these are the high dollar Hooker Headers. No hardware or gaskets, just the headers you are buying. $250.00 SHIPPED in lower 48 States. Higher elsewhere. Paypal or Post Office Money Order ONLY.

Re: Hooker Super Comps Headers ceramic coated

Man, that's a steal for those headers, but I'm gonna have to pass. I checked into having them recoated, but decided I couldn't spend that much right now. Good luck selling them. Shouldn't be a problem.

Re: Hooker Super Comps Headers ceramic coated

I have a set of that very set on one of my ole heaps. Paid near or 600 dollars for them. They also have coating issues. Seems that coating was a life time garantee. Surely Summit will stand behind that? eh!
