best place to find eaton rear end brackets?
Went to fix the leaking brake cylinder on my 72 3/4 4x4. After pulling tire off and setting my jack stand i looked down and the bracket on the bottom side of the rearend that the ubolt goes thru is cracked off in one corner. Looked in my lmc and classic industries books dont see anything wondering if anybody had one laying around for sale or know where to look?
thanks eric |

Re: best place to find eaton rear end brackets?
lets see a pic of how bad its "cracked off" if its just a crack you may be better off just welding it back up.. with out removing the whole rear also. but all depends on how bad it is
BTW if you can weld it back i suggest beveling the edges of the old weld/ inside the crack for better weld penetration.

Re: best place to find eaton rear end brackets?
Is the bracket cast iron with a radius that fits the axle tube and it has (4) holes for the u-bolts?
If it is I should have one. I will look this afternoon as I am leaving shortly. Jim
