Is this an intermidiate steering shaft for tilt wheel?
Wondering if this is an intermediate shaft used for converting to tilt wheel? It is 19 1/4" from end to end. I did a search and got plenty, but didn't see any pics for reference.

It sure looks like the intermediate shaft. Does your truck not have an intermediate shaft or do you have the older setup, (solid shaft).

Re: Is this intermidiate steering shaft?
Thanks, I got the picture on line and went to to the yards to try to find one. No older Chevy's at all. I wound up grabbing one from an '87 and it looks different. I'll see if I can get it to work soemhow.

I think the hole in one end that slides onto one of the shafts is bigger but I don't remember which one.... LockDoc
