new guy with question on a step side bed

Hello everyone, I just picked up a 52 Chevy and it came with a newer style bed. I think it looks like a late 60s early 70s. If you could tell me just what I have that would be a big help. I would rather find a correct box for it and sell this one but I maybe forced to use it depending on cost issues. I see someone cut it up and the tailgate is welded on. The floor is gone. The fenders look ok and I don't see much rust.
I loaded a few pictures for you to check out.
Thanks Steve

Re: new guy with question on a step side bed

that's what you got, a 67-72 bed. Funny becuase mine 67 came with a 55 to 66 bed when I bought it and I wanted the correct bed as well. The good news is this will be an easy sell.

easy sell is right! looks pretty darn clean......

you can subscribe to the board and try to sell it here, or try Craigslist in Madison or Milwaukee. that would in turn fund a correct bed purchase.

oh, and Welcome Aboard from Shawnee, KS!!!!
