250 inline 6 rad work with a 327 ?
Just wondering cause I am going to see a 67 GMC with a 327 and I may need to swap out the rad so I can drive it back. I have 2 inline 6 rads from my 250 engines and was wondering if I could just install one of those for transit. Thanks

it might, is the one with the 327 an auto trans? If the six is a manual and the v-8 an auto you will also need to find a way to cool the trans.

I guess it would depend on how far you have to go and whether it's in town or highway driving....also whether or not it has a fan shroud on it. If it is highway, less than a hundred miles, and it has a fan shroud on it I would try it. (Disclaimer)... nobody ever accused me of being too smart.. LockDoc

I'd go for it, but keep an eye on the temperature. no shroud on the highway shouldn't be a big deal, just try not to work the truck too hard on the way home.
you NEED the tranny cooler lines if it is an auto.

The V8 is an auto and the inline 6 rad I have is out of a standard. I am travelling probably 3 hrs highway with the truck....maybe I should bring a trailor. Thanks for your help guys.

small block trucks came with 2 row rads... so yeah, if he had a tranny cooler, he'd be fine.

I ran an I6 radiator, with no shroud, just the "finger guard" for ages cooling a legendary "fully built 350" with out any problems.
You're going to have to put some kind of transmission cooler on there, though.
