Here is an old pic of my blazer on 15x8 rallies. Don't remember tire size off hand, but can check later if you need it:

Re: bagged trucks on rally

TY, Wish I had bought a wider rear tire, but at $40 a tire used
w/ 90% of the thread left I couldn't be real choosy at the time.

Re: bagged trucks on rally

Are you guys running drop spindles up front? I'd like to put a set of steelies on my truck but I've been told that 15" wheels wont work with the 2.5 drop spindles I have because the rim will rub the lower control arm.

I've seen that. We had a customer in a 97 or so chevy. He bought some 15's. After that he put drop spindles on and came back complaining about the wheel rubbing. So, he was a little upset but there was nothing we could do about it. Not like we knew he was going to do that. Well, He bought 17's right then and there. He was cool about the hole thing. The neat thing about it was this was an old man in his dropped Chevy talking to me about old cars and stuff.

Re: bagged trucks on rally

Yes the lower control arms rubbed a little when i used dropped spindles with my 15" ralleys. It took all of 5 minutes and I really didn't need to grind much off at all. Maybe 1/8" on the very tip of the LCA. I like them.
