Motor Swapping
How much time should I allow to swap an inline 6 from an 84 square body into my 72 using air tools. What is the easiest technique? removing just the motor? removing motor & tranny? removing front clip?

Re: Motor Swapping
i would say 16 hours to remove and replace if truck is ready for the transplant. yes it's easy to pull the front clip off the 84 first. then pull it together. 463

Re: Motor Swapping
I'd say 5-6 hours for the extraction, 7-8 for the replacement including hooking up the sending units, wiring, throttle linkage, ect, ect.
