Weight of a Suburban

Has anyone actually weighed one of these trucks? I have a 67 with BB and A/c power brakes ,power steering. I think it said loaded weight 4,400 lbs. I dont want it to be that heavy. LOl Just curious if anyone weighed one.

Might want to take it and get it checked. We all want to be lighter. Really, lots of places like scrapyards will weigh it... I just want the electric parts to work. Ha!

I think around #4400 - #4600 is probably about right. Was the BB added? I didn't think you could get that until 68. What about the brakes, did they come from a later model? How about some pics?

I think mine is kind of a weird deal. Its registered as a 67. The hood is a 68, it has a factory 402 in it. It is all original and it has some type of cruise control. I was just hoping someone weighed one and there would be a glimmer of hope it was not so heavy. The truck I own was originally a Texas Ranger truck(GMC), it must have been built and the end of 67 or something. Oh well ,we will see sooner or later.
