Re: FYI: 72 LWB on Overhauldin' right now
Very very nice looking longbed I do agree
I did notice that the truck was a 3/4 ton when it was picked up and left a 5 lug 1/2 ton? The rear was also trailing arms and springs. Excuse my ignorance, but are not 3/4 tons all leafs?

several companies make trailing arm conversion kits for these becaus they are so much better for traction than the leafs. This build is a small victory for long bed guys everywhere. I know Foose doesnt care, he can make a Pacer look good with his available finances, manpower and vision, but it helps others notice longbeds who never thought they were viable before

Re: FYI: 72 LWB on Overhauldin' right now
At first I thought it was a leaf spring truck, but was surprised when I saw the trailing arms. Not sure if they switch it or I just didn't notice it.

Re: FYI: 72 LWB on Overhauldin' right now
I think 3/4 ton 2wd's are coils, 4x4's are leafs. They did replace the trailing arms though with boxed ones. The mods I noticed were drop spindles, 4 wheel disk brakes, 5 lugs, seats with custom houndstooth, some kind of console, rear gas tank, smoothed firewall, rewired with a kit, moved the tailgate handle inside, pretty sure it's a spray in bed liner, bumper mod to remove licence plate area, shaved mirrors, blacked out grill insert, vintage air or equivalent, custom door panels, speaker kick panels. I'm sure there is more but they just don't slow down enough on video of the truck, nor do they show each mod during the build.
