Power Door locks ?
I'm ready to install PDL on the 3 doors of my suburban but don't know how to really wire it up. I've got some actuators and only want one master control on the driver side door to lock / un-lock the doors.
I've heard of using relays BUT not sure how they're setup in conjunction with the master switch, etc. Any ideas ?

You only need one relay in line to control all three doors. You can get the part number for it at www.a1electric.com. they sella wiring loom that has the relay in it too.

I put power locks in my truck, i went down to princess auto and bought a power door lock kit for $20. It took me about 2 hours to install and now when i turn the drivers key it locks and unlocks both doors. and it comes with everything you need.

I bought the el cheapo set from JC Whitney 5 years ago and it still works like new. Even with the Keyless entry added later. That was the engineering trick. Relays. They suck. Jeff.
