is this a good price???

hey i found a 72 in great shape that im able to pick from. the guy is willing to give the front cross member, upper-lower a-arms, spindles. calipers and disks. basically everything i need to convert the 67 to disk brakes for 350. is this a good deal? do i need anything else off the 72. do i not need all that. tell me what you think.

You will also need the master cylinder, the proportioning valve. Also the brake booster if it had power brakes.

Some modification may need to be done to your existing brake lines/hoses.

I am sure someone else will add some more.

As for the price, I am not real sure.

sorry, it had to be done, sounds like a good deal, it may need new parts, bushings, etc, but you have the parts and know what to take in and have replaced, and the proper spindles, etc. for discs

I think it's too much personally. If you went to a junkyard you could almost bring home the whole truck for that much. The parts are used and will likely need rebuilt or replaced. Calipers, if not used in a while will end up being used as a core for new ones. Same thing with power brake booster or master cylinder. I'd try to get the price down, a lot, or just look some more for a 71-72 parts truck. Check the parts board here also for a lot of the same things.

not a good deal in my opinion. I have seen entire cross members go for 125 - 150 with rotors and calipers
