DMV Prodecure for Replacing Cab
OK guy's I have a quick question on the DMV procedure for swapping cabs
This is HYPOTHETICAL!! Ok I have a 76 K15 it is a CA vehicle with a FEDERAL SMOG. Its the Heavy Half so it goes with only the FEDERAL requirements. I have a 76 C20 Cab from a CA vehicle with CALIFORNIA emissions. It has all the smog crud. My question is if someone were to put the C20 cab on the K15 frame, what would happen to its emissions requirements?? I have to make sure I don't lose the Federal SMOG. I only need a PCV and the original Air Cleaner. I do not want to have to use all the smog crud. Any ideas!! Anyone care to weigh in?? Thanks Tony |
