Rainy Day #5: "The BIG BANG"!
It's a tailgate!
A really nice perfect original paint "take off" with the handle & hardware. A few people have them, but almost no one will sell one. It has been stored inside since new. This one has no damage other than a ding the size of one of the factory spot welds. A NOS sells for $700+ and this is better than NOS. It passed inspection on a new truck and the new GM handle & hardware must be worth an extra $200...it fits and it is smooth! Here's the bottom line...I will sell it for: $800 boxed, insured & shipped. Hope it was worth the wait. The rain is supposed to let up tomorrow, so this is all I can offer in "Rainy Day" specials for a while. Thanks for playing along--- Frank |

Re: Rainy Day #5: "The BIG BANG"!
As always, I will answer Qs through PMs, but they don't count & don't put you in line.
Skydiver is the first to call for it at the asking price. Skydiver, it is yours and it looks like it already matches your truck. Congratulations. Now you can PM me for payment instructions. Thanks, Frank. |

Thank you for handling this transaction like a professional. I wish all for sale ads were required to be like this.

Re: Rainy Day #5: "The BIG BANG"!
cypressbog: Well, actually they are supposed to follow those simple rules. I have also been on the wrong end of secret PM transactions. I lost a nice tailgate on here to someone that wasn't even posting...only PMs...and it was the right color, too.
Thanks, Frank |

Re: Rainy Day #5: "The BIG BANG"!
I built a wooden box to protect this thing! 1/4" sides so FedEx can't tear through it like they do with cardboard boxes. Now I am going to put it inside another cardboard box & put straps around it...& insure the crap out of it!

Re: Rainy Day #5: "The BIG BANG"!
It's done! It's gone! whew...
I know it rained today, but I am still packing & shipping stuff from that last "surge". I got a little carried away. I did buy a couple things: like a SWB fleetside bed, rolling chassis & nice rust free 71-2 complete front clip. I will offer them with pics in a few days. No early "holds" or reserves. I will post & all can have an equal shot at them. |

Re: Rainy Day #5: "The BIG BANG"!
Wow. That looks great. I will be checking FedEx daily to see when it will arrive. It will match the old girl perfectly. Thanks for being professional and it was a pleasure doing business with you Frank.
