I need pictures of yellow blazers!
Hey everyone, I am looking for pictures of yellow blazers, mine was originally yellow and I have been contemplating painting it yellow again seeing as how you don't see too many any more that are that color.
I just want to make sure it wont be FUGLY!

Re: I need pictures of yellow blazers!
Ill be really interested on how you made that. I am looking at a similar set up but with a half cab roof. I live in Chicago and want a way to lock it up but be able to take the top off easily. Its all in my head right now but if you have so pictures on how you did that it might clear some questions up. Also do you have a bulk head between your seats and the back end? Does air pressure build up and cause problems while driving at higher rates of speed?

Re: I need pictures of yellow blazers!
Mr Beast and JayDub,
The lid is from GAYLORDS LIDS.....they make them for pick-up trucks and then you have an option called "tool box lid" where you give them a measurement of how much you want cut off the bulk-head end. After they trim it down to size for a Blazer they reinforce it to allow hinges to mount and carry the weight of an opened lid. The HUMPS are also GAYLORDS and they are called "Speed Bumps". I used to be a GAYLORDS retailer......if you have them make one , I seem to remember the cost without Speed Bumps being around $1500.<><><><><><><><><><><><> As for the "bulk-head" question..........I have a steel "load bar" running across the "bed" tied into the inner bed side walls for support. So its open from the seats back into the "trunk". <><><><><><><><><> There is no issue with air pressure, at all...( no lifting from high speed travel). And yes , they are lockable. Re: I need pictures of yellow blazers!
I live right down the street from Gaylords (Santa Fe Springs). They made the cover for my 72, color matched, for $1000. No disappointments at all!

I really like the stickers, I looked at your link. Do you have a different than stock dash pad or is just the angle the picture was taken? |

Re: I need pictures of yellow blazers!
must be the angle. the top of the dash is painted the same color as the pad. I don't know if that was something the factory did or not...
