Re: Help!! I need an answer QUICK!! Estimate on the price of a truck, pictures includ
First off the US dollar is worth .98 cents in Canada so the prices aren't going to be different. I paid $2100 for my '67 without a motor or a tranny and there's very little rust on it [just a bubble or two on the rockers].
I hope you meant $4500 TOTAL with the motor....that would be reasonable to an extent but $7500? NO WAY! Most 67-72 sellers in Texas have sense but I can see by 68gmsee's post that there's one for sure that has crack on the brain!

Re: Help!! I need an answer QUICK!! Estimate on the price of a truck, pictures includ
Thanks for all the feedback and advice so far...sorry for not leaving any back...I'm pretty new at this. From what I've gotten so far, $7500 for the truck and engine is an unfair price. I think I will start off at a base price of about $2500 for the body and engine and try my luck...from your suggestions and comments, $4500 will be my MAX offer, if it comes to that. I will see the man tomorrow and and we are going to talk about the truck. I have to admit, I do not know very much about vehicle, prices, and a few other things. In fact, I came to this forum pretty much clueless. You guys have given me ALLOT of good information, and tips, which has helped me out a great deal. So when I do talk to him, I will have the knowledge and confidence to make an educated offer, to be able to bring something to the table, and know whether or not, if the truck is really worth it. If not, I have had a look at allot of the pictures and links you guys have sent to me, and if the sale of the truck does not go favorably, then I have a good idea, of what to look for. I will put in another response tomorrow, as to how the deal went through. Again, you guys have been incredible amounts of help, thank you!
