Brothers rant

I just cancelled my 2nd order with brothers truck.

Apparently some of the parts were on back order and despite numerous attempts to contact them I have got no response. I made my first order in the early part of april, cancelled it the beginning of may (due to backordered items) and made a new order, and now I am canceling that one too. I would think that a business would respond to their paying customers.

They have lots of cool parts but I am not going to way a month to get them, I have ordered with LMC before and got the parts fast, with no hassle, so I guess I am going back to LMC.

I can understand that backordered parts take time, but you should respond to customer questions within 2 weeks I would hope.

Sorry for the rant, but I think this is ridiculous.

Re: Brothers rant

I had a similar problem with Brothers not responding to emails about an order I placed where all the parts said they were in stock when I ordered them but then didn't ship because one was backordered. I never did get a response to the emails but the customer service was great when I called them. They went ahead and shipped the part of the order that wasn't backordered and the rest shipped as soon as they had it in stock.

Re: Brothers rant

Call them. I had a problem with some inner fenders I ordered that where shipped and tracked to a terminal a couple hours from where I live but then disappeared. I think some DHL employee got new inner fenders. Brothers was very cooperative over the phone and sent me another set.

Wink Re: Brothers rant

Few retailers stock the parts in their warehouses anymore. It seems like LMC stocks everything in their catalog, thus the quick delivery.

Re: Brothers rant

I had the same experience with brothers. After two weeks and not seeing anything I called them because it did not show anything in the "order status" on their web site, they were waiting for a back ordered item. I told them it would have been nice to know two weeks ago. Now when I order for any place I type in the comments box-- if any item is not in stock simply remove it from the order and ship what you have. Please notify me of any item taken off order too.

Re: Brothers rant

i just ordered a few items from them as well. i too was expecting them within a week or so, when they did not show i checked online & my status was on back order. i am not in a hurry so i don't mind the wait. i just wished that i would have known when i ordered as well so i would not be axiously waiting each day. sorry to hear your displeasure, but completely understand.... good luck!

Re: Brothers rant

I went through the same thing with them. How hard is it to know if a certain part is in stock or not? I don't care if they warehouse any parts or not, they should know what there suppliers have at all times,it's there business to know.
