Post New wiring question

I'm trying to get my amp guage to work with my new one wire alternator. I can't id some of the wires in the harness though. I have a black/white wire and a brown/white wire that are not on the diagrams. They come off of the plug that goes in the back of the fuel guage. Any idea where these would go? Just want to get that amp guage working so I can see when the alternator takes a dump. Thanks, Jeff.

Heres some diagrams. On the inst. panel plug youshould have a black/white tracer and black 18 ga. wires. There is a 4amp inline fuse in each wire. One is by the battery, and the other is on drivers side usually close to volt. reg.

Dang it, I can't access geocities from work. I'll have to do it from home. Thanks for the reply John. Yeah, I have 2 black wires, one for ground, one for ?, then the black/white and the brown/white. The black? and the other with white stripes are not connected right now til I figure out which one is which. Thanks, Jeff.
