She is off to the paint shop.
Well she is off to the paint shop, FINALLY.
It was one of those days, it started off by me going and toping off the tank on my diesel. Then I thought I would run it through the car wash, went to start it and nothing, turned out to be a clogged fuel filter, not a problem I always carry a spare. Got home backed the trailer in the driveway, dropped the ramp, climed up on the trailer to undo some chains, stepped off and twisted my ankle. So there I was flat on my back in the drive way in pain, I toughed it out and told myself to walk it off. I then got the cab on the trailer by myself, the old man offered but since his bout with cancer, (he is recovering and cancer free now) he still dosnt have the strength or stamina to help so I told him I would get a buddy to help so he wouldnt feel bad. Anyway cab is on the trailer and the sky opens up and it starts pooring, so there I was loading the box, by myself in a down poor, but I have been waiting a while for this day so I wasnt going to let a little rain stop me. To make a long story short, I got it there and in 5 to 6 months it will be done. I dont mind the wait, the painter does very good work and is soon to be a member of the extended family. As always I will post pics when I get her back. She is getting a black and white deluxe paint job, will have a black and white hounds tooth seat, and for that little bit of extra flare I am going to put a white headliner in it. I am very excited and wanted to share my days truck story with all you guys, because I know this group can appreacite, the feeling of waiting for the delivery of a new family member. Is this what its like waiting for a first child to arive??????

Cool - hopefully that wait will go by fast for you. (Unfortunately, that puts it in the middle of the winter).
