Big Block Suspsension Drop

I am wanting to put a big block in my '70 and drop it 2/4 or 3/4...maybe even 3/5. I know to do this with a big block I need 1" less drop in the front spring than the desired drop, so I would need a 2" drop spring to get 3" of drop. I was wondering if there are any other rat motor enthusiasts who have dropped their trucks who wouldn't mind thowing some picks up so I can actually see how the big block will ride on drop springs. I would prefer not to use drop spindles. Thanks guys!

I haven't seen any specifically listed for big block trucks. Do you know of any vendors who sell these that I could check out? Thanks!

Re: Big Block Suspsension Drop

Performance online offeres stock and drop front springs for small or big block applications. I've actually been wondering the opposite -- I'm planning a suspension upgrade: discs, drop spindles, rear coils/panhard, shocks, etc, and have a small block currently. I'd like to stick the BB springs in the front now, so when the big block is ready, I don't have to swap. However, I'm worried that if I install BB springs, it'll raise the front 1".
