Anyone running Tough Country front springs?
If you are, could you get a little info for me? I'm trying to determine if the 3 leaf 4" EZ's (not the 4 leaf HD's) will put my son's '68 higher, lower or about the same as it is now. It's got a homebrew setup that needs to go. It's running 33's now with just the right clearance for our liking.
Now, I measure: 13" from the top of the axle tube to the bottom of the rubber bumper steel mount (not to the rubber itself) 27-1/2" from axle centerline to the highest point (center) of fender opening. I would have put this in the 4x4 forum, but figured more of you might stumble into my question here. Thanks

Jeff, you might pm Blazerman, Rob put a setup on the blazer I bought from him. I think he'll know what your asking. Randy

Re: Anyone running Tough Country front springs?
Thanks Randy- I'll check with Rob.
hdflstf, let me know what yours measures up- then we will all know the diff between the 3 & 4 leaf. I'm thinkin 3 leaf for the shortbox/ smallblock. Maybe 4 leaf on my K20/ Cadillac. There's 700 lbs (ballpark) difference between the two.

Re: Anyone running Tough Country front springs?
i have tuff countrys all around. i'm actually thinking about removing some leaves. it is a 4" lift, but after final measurements, it's actually between 5.75" and 6", depending which you measure. It's actually a touch higher than I'd hoped. maybe the originals had just sagged too much. I'm running 33's on the blazer and it still looks a little tall to me...
I'll see if I can find my final measurements tonight.
