Moved under it's own power, further than 15 feet!

took the truck out tonight for it's maiden voyage off my driveway...
before heading out, I changed the oil. it had plenty of varnished fuel in it from the varnished up holley carb that was removed... changed out a couple more hoses, and I took it out. just went maybe a mile round trip back to my house... I don't really like the smaller steering wheel on it.... needs exhaust really bad, and a tranny flush...

definitely a big beast... here's an interesting shot next to my small brat with just a 3" lift....

there's more pics in my link below, of the low budget/get it drivable portion of the project...

she still smokes pretty good, but the engine seems to run pretty decent....

Re: Moved under it's own power, further than 15 feet!

I'm thinking this might be the new color of the outside at some point.... a little lighter than original, but better than the darker blue/gray it is now.....

No Trans-Ams until '69, that looks like a 67-68 Firebird, maybe even convertible?

You are right, if that is it. A '67 would have had it under the inner headlight.
