Tonneau Covers

I'm not sure if this has been answered in a previous forum. At least I haven't found one. I have a 1972 LWB Fleetside, and I am having difficulties locating a Tonneau cover that fits it. LMC has one on there website but they no longer sell it. I am looking for one that opens with the gas shocks. Any body have any ideas?

When I finally get to that stage of my rebuild, this is the tonneau cover I am going with. Although not the cheapest, they are the best and look awesome. They specifically have them for our applications.

The hard covers are nice, but I'm really looking for the soft covers. I access my bed a lot and I also put things in there that are taller than the side rails. I can roll them up if need be. If mine was strictly a show truck I would go with the Hard covers.

I'll second it on the Gaylords's cover. They will also so paint it if you have a paint code number, (not a custom mix)

I got my soft cover from NAPA Auto Parts. It was in their PSE book (Performance book). They have the kind that hinge up with gas shocks or the cheaper one like mine that does not hinge.

Any one know where you can get one of these? Or is it custom?

Got a hard one on mine, don't know the brand unfortunately. It came with the truck, and honestly, the more I look at it, the more I think I want it gone.

I really like the ones that are a flush mount fit that way they dont take away from the body lines. I just dont know how they would do with water seepage and have never seen a company advertise them for sale. I like this one also, it is as close to being flush but still having overlap for water that I have seen.

ITS70 I did all the research on that hardcover and started a thread a long time ago... It's a real high quality product and the one pictured was narrower because the guy had the steak pockets filled... They typically make them to have a wider lip to cover the pockets. They also paint match them to your paint color for free. The company makes them about an hour south of me. I don't think they'll call it water proof but with the wide lip they would be pretty good... I really wanted the hard cover because of security.

There are bed covers (hard) and there are tonneau covers (soft).Jim Carter offers frame-mount Tonneau covers in colors.I`m not sure what his web address is.An custom trim shop could make one.It would be expensive.

Ok..great picture and looks like a great product...but...who is the vendor? I think some type of soft bed cover would best fit my application as I haul shelled corn. mulch and othe bulky misc. items once in a while.

It's called Bedlocker by Pace Edwards here is their web site PaceEdwards.AutoAnything.com It was about $1500 but you can install your self real easy. Mine is the electric one but they also make a manual one for less money.
