Re: Different Heads

I'm going to assume that your engine is a sbc....would straight plug heads be the ones? im not sure, trying to make an educated guess

Re: Different Heads

Exhaust manifolds are more about fitting the vehicle. They have to miss steering parts, motor mounts, heater boxes, etc. As long as you are looking at straight plug heads, nearly any of them will fit the manifold.
What you really need to concern yourself with is heads that are right for your engine. Displacement, piston type, etc.

Re: Different Heads

The bottom pic is a manifold for the later models with right hand side dipstick. They won't work on the earlier blocks with driver side dipstick. Fitment on the heads has nothing to do with the heads themselves since the bolt pattern is the same on all of them. ...Joe
