Cruisin' the Coast - 2008
http://www.cruisinthecoast.com/
Alright guys, it's time to start getting an idea of how many of us are planning on going. The dealine for pre-registration is less than a month away. Hotels and RV parks are filling up. So, Who's planning on going? Let us know when you're planning on going, and where you should be at in the state. I'm planning to move the camper there on the Thursday (Oct. 9th) and should be staying until Sunday around mid-day. We've got a site booked at Gulf Haven Campground in Gulfport (right off of US90).

Looks like that weekend is my night shift, I'll see what I can do, but it doesn't look good for anything other than Friday up until about 4pm.

Re: Cruisin' the Coast - 2008
We're going again this year! Leaving here Thursday the 9th. Last year was our first time & we had a blast. It's so relaxing to just pick a good spot on the side of Hwy90, set up the lawn chair, & watch all the nice/interesting rides pass by.
Just made hotel reservations a couple weeks ago & had to get a place in Waveland. Nothing is vacant on the main strip for less than $160 a night. There is a nice little playground/park on 90 in Biloxi, between Edgewater Mall and the Lighthouse, that would be a good spot for us to all meetup, with a spot for the kids to play.

Looks like I might get to spend more time there too. They have not disapproved my vacation for the week yet. Hope to meet up with a lot of you from last year and a few more that I didn't get to meet up with.

Cruisin' the Coast - 2008
Last night I watched an episode of "My Classic Car" and it was on the Crusin' the Coast Show and I'm thinking one of these years that would make for a great vacation for us cause we've never been to Louisiana or New Orleans and 35 miles of Cars, trucks and rods would be awesome.
I'd have to have my 700R4 and 3:42's installed before I'd attempt a trip like that with my 396..

Re: Cruisin' the Coast - 2008
I guess I should have checked the map before I typed. How could I get bored with 35 miIes of rides? If I headed that way I'd make sure I knew where I was going !!!!
