Re: Towing with a 4/6drop
well it by all means it is possible. but its going to be a very rough ride with the (i believe stock) load capacity and 6 less inches to your jounce bumpers. best trust your Hitch and triple check it tho.
i have a friend that has Airbags on his 02 silverado and tows very often but he fills the truck with air before hand. so that prob doesnt help you out.

Re: Towing with a 4/6drop
Most people that tow or haul anything with a truck lowered 5 or 6 inches use helper bags on it.

Re: Towing with a 4/6drop
Small trailers and light loads aren't bad but if you want to pull a car trailer I'd suggest bags or helper bags.

Re: Towing with a 4/6drop
with a static 6" drop in the rear, I'm sure your bottoming out on every bump now, but some simple helper air bags will make it tow better than ever. Thats my experience anyway when I had a 3", 5" lowered set up on a 71 long bed. The $200 helper bags made the truck handle great when towing, Best money I ever spent.

Re: Towing with a 4/6drop
With a static 6" rear drop and no C-notch you`ll have minimal travel to the frame when empty. It takes care not to bottom.Air bag inserts are what you need or bags in place of coils.I already have coils,so I`m going with bags in the coils and just run lines out the back and mount the valves by the tag.
