Thumbs up LS swap guys inside please

OK,....I rounded up a 2000 4.8 for my 67 C20 4x4 and I am going to be pulling the motor, harnes and trans out in the next week.

So those of you that have done the swap please post up pic's, links, tips tricks etc!
I have not decided if I want to put in the TH350/205 that I have sitting here or if I want to track down the pieces I need and put the 4L60 and a transfer from something newer in.

Please advise,
Mike

Re: LS swap guys inside please

i have had bad luck with 4l60e's,would be a lot easier and less $ to go with the 350/205 combo.more dependable IMO.

i am wrapping up my swap now,
"shifty" on here and on ls1 tech has got some great info in his build, plus TONS of pics.
ls1 tech is a good resource.
you can look at mine, not a lot of photos, anything i can help with, just ask

good luck.

Just click on the link in my signature and spend the next couple of days clicking through to people's projects. (the link @ LS1tech). It links back to projects at this forum and others.

i could sit here and retype everything you'll find there and try to condense it, make it really nice for you ... i am a nice guy and all ... but i'm not that nice

good luck with your project!
