Air Ride Compressor question

I had been debating which compressor to buy when i thaught of an idea, why not use an old air compressor from a truck a/c system? I know they create plenty of pressure (+200psi i think) but what kind of CFM? Your input would be greatly apreciated!

Re: Air Ride Compressor question

been done a hundred times already. the York is the best since it has it's own lubrication. Most modern AC compressors use oil in the freon/R-134 and aren't well suited. A york will fill a 10 gal tank in under a minute and un;ess you're super switch happy you'll never out run it.
The Oasis brand is basically a york connected to a DC motor so it can be mounted anywhere other than on the engine drive.
