SIX Lug Wheels, Where? Torq Thrust??
In a post a week or so ago, I was looking to buy a pair of "wheel adapters" to use on my rear axle which has 6 lug wheels. The front of this truck has disc brakes someone put on in a 5 lug pattern. Don't want 2 spares! So I can't find the adapters(I did check), so it would be cheaper to change the fronts to 6 lug spindles than the rear axles to 5 (confused yet?). Started counting the cost of new axles, brake drums, bearings etc and it seems that the spindles would be less money. Right? Anyway, I'd like to put on Torg Thrust II's on her, but looks like they only come in a 5 lug pattern. I want to stay w/15 in. wheels but could go to 16. Any comments?

Re: SIX Lug Wheels, Where? Torq Thrust??
If you want to stay 5 lug you should just get the adapters and be done with it. You also do not have to change spindels for a 6 lug dis rotor. Brothers, GMC pauls and other vendors(links to them in my sig below) can sell you a set of 6 lug rotors that are a direct fit for your spindles, and would be less than half the cost of new spindles. There is a set of adapters on ebay right now for $170 if you want to see them PM me to remind me and I will see if I can find them and give you a link to them.

byrd,
I'd rather do the adapters for sure. I've looked on the Brothers site with no luck. I tried to pm you but got an error-will try again. Raymo |

Don't think Torq Thrust's come in 6 lug......I checked their catalog online.
I'll check Hudlow axle right now. Thanks Raymo |
