I don't know man. It depends on if you like doing doughnuts I haven't driven a truck with the IROC rear bar, but I'd be willing to bet you're gonna be real squirly in the rain. Trucks can benefit from light roll control in the rear, but too much will make it want to swap ends around every turn. I hope it works for ya but if not it will be an easy swap to the lighter bar now that you've done the install.

Re: Camaro sway bar install

I hope it doesn't make it squirley in the rain. It handles pretty good with just the front bar on it so if it does make it squirley I'll just take it off and sale it.

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Camaro sway bar install

I've got a 1-1/4" bar up front which almost makes the truck handle like a go cart and have wondered if a rear bar would help even more or hinder performance on a truck. Let us know how this goes.

An intersting note, my truck handles better than my '68 Camaro-and it even has an upgraded sway bar!

Wink Re: Camaro sway bar install

I know this is a old thread but I just wanted to update. I had to take the bar off because I bought the No Limit shock relocator kit and it wouldn't work with the bar so it's not installed anymore. The truck did fine with the bar though. I never had any problems while installed. I may reinstall it at some point but right now it;s doing fine without it.

Re: Camaro sway bar install

thanks for the up date...
I'd think the fear of turning the truck into an overstear monster might be correct IF
all four tires are the same..
but set ups like mine with 245/60/15 front and 295/50/15's rear.. the extra rubber on the rear.. is a factor in the grip and when if at all it's snap from balanced to overstear..
