66 C-10 rear axle ID

On many passenger car rear ends, there's a code stamped on the front of the passenger side axle tube. It indicates, year, gear ratio, posi, etc. However, I don't see stampings on the 66 C-10 12-bolt I'm working on. Any idea where to look?

Look on top of the axle tube on the passsenger side. You may have to use some type of abrasive to find it. If it had a six cylinder and a three speed there is a good possibility that it is a 3.73 gear ratio.
