Re: fbi control arms

Why not call FBI and ask them. Not to sound like a smart-a$$, but they know their product better than we do.

Re: fbi control arms

holy crap, $419 for upper and lower tubular control arms. That is unheard of. The air ride lowers are more than that.

link. I'm sure they will not fit the 67-72.

Re: fbi control arms

No kidding thats cool, as many people that just use stock front crossmembers and build rest of frame it wouldnt be too bad to do that.. but hell for all that work you could spend few hundred more and get the ones that fit

Re: fbi control arms

Any thing is possible but keep in mind with the year split every thing is changed so you will have to take length, wideth, ball joint angles all into consideration.... My question is why on one of the most important components due to safety would you want to cut corners?

Re: fbi control arms

I agree with Jon but would also like to ask why would you purchase parts that would need to be modified to work when there are parts made for your model truck available for about the same money?

Re: fbi control arms

honestly i didnt think about it being a safty concern, just saw the price, got excited and thought id ask if they would work.I didnt think they would need modification thus the reason for me asking if they would work. But i appreciate the feedback and i will not be ordering them i will wait n get the ones that fit.
