Re: Longhorn and more for sale in Central TX
I came across this the other day. If you go to the link in the CL post: WWW.AMERICANHOTRODZ.COM there are more details. It is at the same location (CO.?) as "Texas Exports" in Belton. They have a swap meet out front every summer, usually around July 4th. IMO, they have always been kind of high priced based on what I have see in the past, as far as $$$ asked vs condition of vehicle. (IMO) I do admit that these trucks "look" like they may be worth what they are asking...
The green truck in the CL post is "72 CHEVY LONGHORN 3/4 TON 350 AUTO MIGHT RUN WITH TINKERING 2600.00 " The solid light blue truck "72 CHEVY 3/4 TON FACTORY 4 X 4 350 AUTO STARTS AND STOPS. SOLID AND STRAIGHT NEEDS RESTORING 3800.00" The dark blue and silver LWB "72 CHEVY CHEYENNE SUPER 350 AUTO NEEDS SOME MINOR RESTORATION. LOADED WITH TACH AND TILT. 4800.00" The red short step side " 71 CHEVY STEPSIDE 350 AUTO RUNS GOOD. NEEDS PAINT 5800.00" |

Re: Longhorn and more for sale in Central TX
Yeah, they looked a little overpriced. I just didn't know if someone was REALLY in the market for a longhorn. They seem to be pretty scarce around here. I have only seen one that I can remember and it has been transplanted here from Montana.

Longhorn said what I was trying to say in a less diplomatic way.

I was being nice the way I worded it.
My true opinions would be frowned upon if I typed it out on here. |
