Sat pics (10-4) a cruise in, a raging bull, flames, and what I had for lunch.
Greetings! I shagged up to East Ridge tonight with one of my buds for a lil cruise in. Here's a few shots from the lil get together.
A clean lil GMC. Man! This car was huge! Check out the two bars connecting to the brake pedal. A very clean and green shorty. I think green is making a resurgeance in popularity! I just liked this plate. |

Re: Sat pics (10-4) a cruise in, a raging bull, flames, and what I had for lunch.
I thought about getting one of these for Christy's 54. But I'm not an "open hood" kinda guy so it would kinda be a waste.
This sweet roadster belongs to a guy named Jim. I should know his last name being as how I spent an hour at a resteraunt with him and his wife after the show.....But I don't, Sorry Jim!! OK, back to the raging bull! My wife left town this past Monday to visit her brother. I wanted to take her out to eat before she left.....I knew it wasn't good when I saw this in the parking lot. Don't worry, I made it out without having to wash the dishes! |

Re: Sat pics (10-4) a cruise in, a raging bull, flames, and what I had for lunch.
Now, On to the flames part of this post. I was over at Brian's to work on Christy's 54 and decided it was good time to clean up some of the boxes her car parts had came in.
So I started a fire. I've never really tried to take any pics of flames before.... I kinda though this one looked like a skull. Firelight illumination. We're kinda in a holding pattern on the 54 right now while we wait for some parts to come in. Brian was able to notch the frame where we were having a smidge of a control arm interference issue. That extra bit of clearance combined with a proper size tire.... ....got us a bit lower. You can just barely see daylight underneath the rack mounting points. |

Oh yeah! What I had for Lunch! With the wife gone I'm fending for myself around here. Don't get me wrong, I can take care of myself. As the noon hour approached today I went and surveyed the fridge contents.... As I viewed the inventory a thought entered my mind.....Waffles are round...Baloney is round...Coincidence? I think not!
Yummy! I love ya babe! Lookin forward to having you home soon! |

Great pics! Love the lambo.
The waffle and baloney lunch is a new one--I'll have to try that. The beer would be for dessert only.

Great shots as usual SeeTen.Those flames are cool. Not really a sports car kinda guy but you gotta love the prestige of the lambo.
Just two questions,do you use Mayo, mustard, or syrup on a waffle and balogna samwich??And what kind of cheese goes best?

Re: Sat pics (10-4) a cruise in, a raging bull, flames, and what I had for lunch.
Thanks guys!
Deland, I spread some spicy brown mustard on the baloney. I didn't think that it would spread very well on the waffle! I went with cheddar on this one.........but it's not a round cheese, kinda ruins the whole "round logic" aura. The next one might just get two slices of baloney fried up extra crisp with mustard! |

I was hoping ya had the good sense to fry the baloney. And toast the waffles.
BTW>You might want to get Christi to give you a tour of the boutique they call the grocery store before she takes her next trip.

I'm quite fluent in grocery store shopping! I told her I wanted baloney and waffles. The reason being is she doesn't like to eat or smell fried baloney. She also doesn't like frozen waffles. She was joking with me about me making a sandwich out of em.......turned out pretty good!

Great pics Asa, and you can cook for me any time. I wonder if the wife would like a personal chef......
By the way, I love the flame shots! Did you have to slow the ISO a lot?

It's a point and shoot camera but it does have a few selective options. The first flame pic with the barrel was done in "fireworks" mode. The other pics were done with the shutter speed set as fast as it would go, seems like it was 1/1000 of a second.

This is one of my hot rod buddies. Notice the silhouette on the side of his truck.

Re: Sat pics (10-4) a cruise in, a raging bull, flames, and what I had for lunch.
It seems like the GMC was priced at 10K. I saw a picture on the net (coulda been an email who knows) of a Lamborghini like this one and a honda civic. They were parked one behind the other at like the entrance to a resteraunt or a motel or something of that sort. Both the owners are getting in to their cars. The Honda had the vertical 'lambo" door kit on it and the Lamborghini had the regular traditional opening doors.
